These programs offered by Vishnupuram Literary Circle were started in 1992, when Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati was living in Ooty, by writer Jeyamohan in Ooty Gurukulam. These trainings are later formalized and conducted through Vishnupuram Literary Circle.
