This whole time, democrats have told us that this shutdown was worth it. They said we were accepting pain now because it would ensure health coverage for millions. But now they've shown their cards. We took the pain, and didn't even get the one thing that was supposed to make it worth it. Congrats!

I'm keeping an eye on every Democrat with 2028 presidential potential to see how they comment on the senate vote right. Almost none of them have said anything. Where did the passion go? Typical

Going back and watching old clips of Trump debating is kinda crazy, because he's so much more charismatic and put together than he is now. He seems so much more in control. The change was so gradual that I forgot that he didn't always sound quite so demented every time he talked

I wish I could live in a world where once the public becomes more aware of issues with certain problematic political stances, we unanimously rejected the politicians that held them. Instead, we do stuff like voting for Democratic nominees who stood against same sex married single digit years prior

I'm constantly finding new characters whose voice I adore only to look it up and it's one of the same few voice actors I already love. Like, of course it's Grey DeLisle again! Stop being so incredible! I want to find out that it was someone else for once

I think one extra annoying little detail about the current ai bubble is that it will almost certainly pop the moment the next presidential election happens, just like Obama in 2008 and Biden in 2020, the next president will be blamed for a crashing economy that they merely inherited

It's crazy how the straightest men you knew came out of the woodworks to comment on Jojo Siwa's whole "gay pop" remark, knowing damn good and well they never actually give half a shit about queer media

One Rural Voter: "Trump isn't doing what I wanted. I'm upset with how the government runs, and while I'm still likely to vote red, and prefer Trump over Democrats, I'm disappointed."
Political Commentators: "Rural voters fed up with Republican administration and turning their backs on the party!"

I'd love to do an escape room some day, but the one in my city uses ai for their site. Like, if they can't support local photographers, how am I supposed to support them as a local business? Also, if they are cutting corners with ai here, where else are they cutting corners? Mad unfortunate

If they came out with a Nobel prize for being poor, billionaires would spend millions of dollars in marketing to convince the committee that actually, the large amount of debt they have technically makes them the most deserving of the prize, and that their wealth is merely theoretical

Saw a Facebook Marketplace listing for a TV. The description didn't say a size or resolution or model number, but it did say "going through divorce."
Like, okay? Are you divorcing the TV or something?

My legal name is too formal, but my family nickname is too intimate. I need a name that works as an intermediate. Something that says "This isn't a formal dynamic, but we also aren't close like that." I hate the awkward transition from one to the other. We need to normalize that intermediary name

I'm a MASSIVE Game Pass defender, but even I'm struggling to justify it's worth with the recent price increase. I'd still argue that it's worth it for me personally, but outside of that I don't know if it's worth the price point anymore

I think that Bojack Horseman is a great show, but there are certain aspects of the character that if you relate to them, you can keep that to yourself, you know?
His self-loathing, sure. His abusive behavior, deflection, and self-victimization? Maybe leave that thought to work on in private

Holy shit I've not been doing okay. Not even for some recent event. It feels like my entire being gave up just for the sake of it. I don't think I'm normally like this. I'm pretty sure it doesn't normally last this long. I've barely left bed in weeks. I don't even have a reason to be this depressed

We need to end the habit of calling someone without warning. Just shoot a text to ask first. It's that easy. I was asleep and woke up to a VIDEO CALL from someone I ain't talk to in a month because they wanted to tell me they bought a car. Text. Stop calling without a text first. Diabolical shit

I've admittedly tried out AI image generators, because like many people, I am an artist who is lazy and not as devoted as I could be. I've found that even as a lazy artist, image generators are INCAPABLE of creating the same unique feeling of life that comes from being neck deep in the art process

I'm kinda hoping that Lars of the Stars switches up the Steven Universe art style just a tiny bit. Steven Universe is gorgeous, but I love Rebecca Sugar's art so much, and just want to see what else she can do with the visuals. I'd be happy either way though
