We also highlighted the important role networks like University Settlement’s (which operates across Lower Manhattan, in Washington Heights, and in Brooklyn) play in ensuring that high-quality in-home providers have access to updated and effective curriculum and assessment support.

Last week @mayor.nyc.gov came to Chinatown to meet with Ms. Li, a provider from University Settlement’s Family Childcare Network, and our CEO Melissa Aase. We discussed the way family childcare can be deeply culturally responsive, creating real choices for NYC’s diverse communities.
