6-figure, 5-figure is just a normal retail job

But also yes I agree

It's depressing how easy it would be for them to pull off their authoritarian takeover by actually doing things that normie moderates like. But they're so obsessed with their personal power fantasies that they can't even do that.

Many Americans have a short memory, but that doesn't mean they don't see what's happening now.

And people make fun of redditors

Do they realize that women are literally 50% of the population? I don't think you can really call anything "saving the country" when over half the population suffers for it.

Reform is not good enough, immigration enforcement in this country needs to be completely overhauled from the ground up. If you don't like the word abolish, just don't use the word abolish. Dropping the slogan does not require dropping the policy.

It's an "administrative" warrant, meaning it didn't come from a judge. Google doesn't have to comply with them, and it sounds like they didn't.

The actual article implies that Google did not share his information with DHS.

There are plenty of ways to find someone's address. I'm sure it was on multiple whitepages-style websites. I see no reason to believe that they got the info from Google.

You can't blame them too much, removing references to Trump took all the resources they had available.

Replace, not reform.

It's literally the above source. But if you'd like to trust a random number that someone on the internet came up with because it aligns better with what you want to be true, I guess that's your perogative.

It's 3-4%, and <2% for big institutional investors.

Weren't they terrified of doxxing murderers just a few days ago?

"Tighten the rules on warrants"
The rules already are tight. They're set by the Constitution. ICE just violates them with impunity and the only way to stop that is to shut it down.

This doesn't matter for federal agents because of supremacy clause immunity. Otherwise states could just get around the supremacy clause for anything by banning the presence of federal law enforcement.

Reminds me of this

"Consideration for me, specifically" is what they mean.

fwiw people don't agree on what "abolish ICE" means. To many it means to get rid of ICE and all of its functions i.e. all immigration enforcement.

A Majority of Voters Are Unfavorable of ICE, Are Divided on What “Abolish ICE” Means
Voter favorability of ICE has steadily declined over the course of President Donald Trump’s second term.

Homelessness is not a money problem, it's a supply problem. You can spend tens of billions of dollars on ending homelessness and it will barely do anything if existing residents stop developers from building where people want to live. Just look at California.
