It is poker, basically, but I would recommend to any first time player to NOT use Chii, Pon, or Kan unless they absolutely, POSTIVELY know what they are doing.

Like, I am a massive oldhead that had every Nintendo console since the NES and I am still finding stuff that I have missed. Like, Arcade Shinobi owns! And so does Rolling Thunder!

I do feel that even if you don't vibe with the major stuff nowadays, I feel that there is still things that one can get into even if they are fewer and far between. And even then there is still a massive backlog of stuff you may have missed back In The Day.

I feel that gaming and game development has always been about trend chasing; only hollywood is less risk adverse. Given the costs of development these days, it is more noticeable now.
