Where is the outrage from the Republicans about government overreach and big brother? Just last month those republican senators wanted a million bucks for getting their phone records lawfully subpoenaed. Lol.

This piece of trash will get due process. An attorney. Phone calls. Pre trial motions. Discovery. A day before a real judge not some pretend immigration judge.

The last line of this lede: "...president trumps effort to reindict one of his most prominent perceived rivals" is accurate and shows how fucked up things have become. Couldn't imagine seeing a headline like this in the last 50 years.

Even if you are a brown/black american and not in danger of being deported, just the fact that you have to be worried about being followed/ harassed/ tackled to the ground by law enforcement for no reason is a stain on the whole country.

Too many people dont vote because they dont see a difference between the parties. Stories like this dont help.

The fact that some Dems are corrupt pieces of crap is not new or cause for despair. It happens. The fact that the Dem caucus/ leadership doesnt relegate him to the scrap heap, shun him, publicly condemn him is the cause for frustration/ concern

If he does it and the the Dems take back the white house and one house in Congress, they can put all these fools under oath, make them talk about what they have done, find their actions outside the scope of their employment, turn the evidence over to people suing them, refuse to represent them.
