My New Year's resolution - Posted on my Meta accounts tonight: I made the decision to leave (Deactivating) Meta for ethical reasons. I can no longer support such an evil corporation. So no more Instagram or Facebook. Not a decision I’ve made lightly but I believe it will be for the best.

I curate a tiny art gallery in the middle of Scotland and every year I invite my students to make holiday decorations from clean household waste and left over craft materials. This year the gallery looks like a Winter Wonderland #Sustainable #Scotland

Another excellent Book, Humankind, a hopeful history by Rutger Bergman. It is an antidote to all the horror in the world right now. Highly recommend it, uplifting. #HumanKindAHopefulHistory #MustRead

Massive Attacks performance (London last night) was a work of Art - the music set against a backdrop of contemporary visuals taken from current war torn places, particularly Gaza, including statistics, social media clips, and news clips - powerful juxtaposition, left you both feeling and reeling.

Just finished reading Nexus published 2024 by Yuval Noah Hahari - it talks specifically about this very thing. It’s absolutely terrifying. We humans are so stupid! The fact that they say they’ve mostly mitigated the risk is the scariest part….shouldn’t they be 100% sure?
