Humanitarians in #Gaza are working tirelessly day and night to get people basic essentials for survival. But it's only a fraction of what is needed.

Gaza needs an immediate #ceasefire, for all civilians to be protected, and for aid to be allowed to flow freely at the scale needed.

HH Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah of Kuwait has long been a leader on humanitarian issues.

A deadly cholera outbreak is spreading in eastern #Chad.

I've released $1M from UNCERF to help contain it and assist humanitarian partners deliver lifesaving health and water, sanitation and hygiene support.

I've allocated $9M from UNCERF to keep hospitals, water systems, bakeries, and vital services running in Gaza.

With no electricity, lives depend on this support.

If a ceasefire takes effect and we’re allowed access at scale, we’ll be ready to reach even more people – fast.

Need for unimpeded humanitarian effort, but many humanitarians forced to suspend ops.

Issuing displacement orders does not absolve parties to conflict from responsibilities: many civilians remain and must be protected.
