I agree. My O-6 father (the guy on the right) once advised me the best thing you can say for public consumption is "No comment."

I apologize, I saw the photo of Colonel Meyers in uniform and was mistaken.

My dad (pictured at right) was Korea/Vietnam. He made two combat parachute jumps into Sukchon and Munsan-ni, North Korea in 1950 and 1951.

Imagine being one of the poor bastards who had to fight in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam! My godfather was one of them. He led the last US Army bayonet charge in history in North Korea in 1951.

In track and field, Jackie was the 1940 NCAA long jump champion. He was robbed from competing in the 1940 and 1944 Olympics because of World War II. His brother Mack was on the 1936 US Track and Field team.

In basketball, Jackie led the PCC (precursor to the PAC-8, PAC-10, and PAC-12) in scoring in 1940.

Jackie Robinson was the greatest American athlete. It's no exaggeration to say he could have played pro football, basketball, and Olympic sports. At UCLA in football, Jackie was a single wing tailback, a free safety, returned kicks and punts, and kicked extra points. He was an All-American.

Did you know John went berzerk at Paul's 21st birthday party when Bob Wooler made a joke about John and Mr. Brian Epstein going on a honeymoon to Spain? He broke Bob Wooler's ribs and Billy J. Kramer and Billy Hatton had to pull John off!
