What's not helping against the "overthinking" argument is that I thought so much about it that I had to write out my thoughts afterwards. I guess long-form content seems to be more my shtick?

Apparently already happening, with Gemini finding ways to access things it was not allowed to access (here .env files with user access keys) if prompted correctly by a sneaky prompt:
