My only pushback is saying criticizing the only people who are doing something. You don’t know that. You don’t know if behind the scenes work is more effective in getting the actual result we want, which is to have outrageous tactics stop and get them out of here.

Point taken.

I can’t believe I’m weighing in but I will. I didn’t read Blois as saying do nothing. He said do something different. The press conferences etc aren’t producing the desired results. Something more surgical behind the scenes might. Why not worth a try? Or even both/and?

You weren’t the only one.

It will be interesting to see what this does to Pilates. Tough to do both the membership fee and Pilates cost. Or maybe I’m just speaking for myself.

Any new credible rumors on the YMCA discounted rate for seniors?

I wish they’d do it quickly. There’s not a lot of time to figure out options that might exist elsewhere.

BCBS did it.

Beyond annoying. Health Partners still has both the Y and Lifetime for 2026.

Mike used to live across the street from me. Great neighbor, great guy. Saw problems and fixed them.

Do I want to look? Not really. But the 2nd (or 3rd?) year in a row that house value declined. So my taxes *only* up 4%.

They’ll have you covered if you want a liver pate, beet and lingonberry smorrebrod, which you should.

Torvehallerne (sp?) food market in Copenhagen is terrific and something we should have in MSP. A million food and drink and a few shops stalls. Indoor and outdoor.

And I’ve always been told that high voter turnout is a good thing. Hmmm

Hey!!
November 10, 2025 at 11:24 PM
I know-that’s what I said. When you said you wanted partisan RCV primaries and then said it’s fun to think about DFLers complaining about the DSA I thought that implied a primary between the DFL and DSA. My error!
November 5, 2025 at 8:34 PM
But wouldn’t the DSA need to be a party of its own rather than just the group within the DFL?
November 5, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Darn. Everyone gets to vote. Sad!

From the article “Fateh’s campaign canceled a scheduled interview and did not respond to requests to reschedule.”

Address numbers! When I’ve put up lawn signs in past years I’ve been surprised at how hard it is to find the address. And if I can’t find it neither can first responders.

Now to be acceptably liberal you need to be not liberal or progressive but socialist?

In the photos I saw it looked like Wonsley was outside Coffman which would be allowed. Obv that was a moment in time so I don’t know about the rest of it.

As someone who attends the church of the pastor in question I can offer a different perspective. Our church for decades has said we bring people together around what unifies us and that’s the Gospel. This has been a long time value. We have never gone toward political opinions.

How is it going after him to point out his voting record agreement with those who ran as DSA endorsed?
