DYK that fish can tell how each other were raised?🐟

A study by Dr. Georgia Mason’s lab in @integrativebiology.bsky.social has found that zebrafish will selectively mate with fish raised in “enriched” housing vs those from barren tanks.

#UofG researchers are surveying southern Ontario’s American chestnut trees, tracking the health of the trees nearly wiped out by a fungus in the 1900s.

Without intervention, the trees could be extinct in 150 years.
