I've also been working on developing our new monograph proposals form & processes, for our planned relaunch later this year. Drawing on the best practice examples at other new university presses has been essential in this respect.

Naturally, all our resources remain online & open access to readers, and authors will be able to submit works to our various journals via their usual routes - although see individual journal pages for information on any 'downtime' they have planned too for the festive break.

I'll be taking a break over the Christmas period, and moving more fully into phase 2 with more community engagement & stakeholder conversations which I'm looking forward to having.

I keep saying this, but no single conversation I've had with press staff, librarians, research adjacent staff, researchers and students hasn't contained at least one or more revelatory insights.
