I had a great 2025. I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy and discovered some new favs like The Spear Cuts Through Water, The Thousand Names, and The Burning books by Evan Winter. I also read some great classics like The Age of Innocence and Lolita. Next year I'll be finishing series.

I was sick for a lot of Dec, so my reading was down. I listened to some great audiobooks and finished my 2025 challenges. Here's to a great 2026!

A very slow month for me with only 6 books. I spent most of my time reading The Devils, which was fun, and The Goblin Emperor, which got bumped up to a 5 star on a reread. Nothing else was too impressive for me this month.

October was full of fun, spooky reads for me. I re-read Frankenstein like I do every Oct (the 1831 version this time). The surprise highlight was The Corruption of Hollis Brown, which I'll be thinking about for a while, and A Botanical Daughter was some of my fav genres combined

Sept was a slow month for me. Most of my time was spent reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell which was a bit of a disappointment for me. I also reread Swordspoint which is still one of my favs. The rest of my time went to Poirot and friends. Now to get my spooky reading list ready!

What a great month. August gifted me with some new 5 star reads like The Spear Cuts Through Water and The Monster of Elendhaven. I also enjoyed the Jim Henson bio and some more Expanse. #booksky

July had a book count of 12 for me with some new top favs. The Thousand Names by @djangowexler.bsky.social was the runaway hit by far. I also finished The First Law trilogy, which ended great, and continued The Expanse, which I'm still loving. Interview with the Vampire also stood out. #booksky

A little late but here's June. Huge reading month for me as far as quality goes. Biggest winner this month was Lolita, which is a masterpiece of writing. Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter was also great. This month I continued with some more Murderbot books, which I love.

May was a solid month for me. I re-read a couple Murderbot books (so much fun) and continued with The Expanse. The Left Hand of Darkness filled out my sci-fi and I read my first Mercedes Lackey for fantasy. I finished the month with Middlemarch. On to June! #booksky

April was full of high rated books for me. I started with John Green's Everything is Tuberculous, which was great. Then I read the 2nd and 3rd books of The Expanse. I finished the month with Shards of Time, the last book in the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling. I'll miss those boys. #booksky

March was a slow month but I had some great reads. The last Emily Wilde book was so fun and I finally got around to starting the First Law trilogy.

I had a great month of reading in February. I finally started Robin Hobb with Assassin's Apprentice and then I had a great time with These Violent Delight and The Golden Raven. The theme for this month was obsession and I got some great stories this month.

My January wrapped from Storygraph. Rage of Dragons by @evanwinter.bsky.social was by far my favorite this month. I can't believe I waited so long to read it. My least favorite was The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. I've given him 2 chances now and I don't think he's for me.
