He was pretty good on housing, I think she was way, way crazier than he is. He was a corrupt drunk, but had decent policies on housing.

Solomon won McGreevey's home district on Garrison Ave, just brutal.

There's at least 4 Tina Nalls-won precincts on the South Side. Meredith Burns won Port Liberte. It's kinda sad that Rivera lost Villa Borinquen.

Khan actually delivered his home precinct to Boggiano, but Ali mattered way more in Marion.

Denise Ridley won Brandi Warren's home district, and Brandi Warren won Denise Ridley's home district. Jerry Walker made this a pretty tight race, Ridley doesn't pull it out without huge coattails from Solomon.

The weird thing is he was so lazy, and only cared about like two blocks, Fulop was basically able to run the ward for the past 8 years, that's why it's seen so much development. A rezoning passed in 2010 and they just let er rip.

All the races were called, the county leaks data to the press hours before they release it to the public. It was a clean sweep.

The actual commie corridor is along HBLR. Palisade Ave and Pacific Ave is where the DSA people in JC live.

It's like Cobble Hill West, they will lose their fucking minds if you try to raise their taxes.
December 3, 2025 at 3:00 AM
The one they couldn't afford to bring back because they spent all the money in round 1.
December 3, 2025 at 2:59 AM
That's actually pretty far in city blocks. And if you zoom out, the apartment from Friends isn't that far away!
December 3, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Yep, although there wasn't really a better choice. In retrospect, she beat two (white) tomato cans. But very happy she won given what I've heard Warren say about development and street safety.
