I know there have been claims of making the city work better and doing things like speeding the permit process but I have a bunch of friends who have tried to open businesses or make investments in Hartford since he took over and they have developed PTSD from the process

The kindest things I can think of are some announcements (and presumably follow ups on) dealing with slumlords and wresting some additional state funds to balance the budget

Love the DOT having a person now dedicated to TOD statewide. Apparently the Stamford TOD project is using a design build standard.

I wish we used the European style design competition more often. This would be a great opportunity to do something like that!
