Lost Days by Brian Evenson is one of my favorite books, it’s a bit grisly lol. I also recently read I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Ian Reid which I really enjoyed, it’s mainly psychological/surreal and it was more different than the film than I expected (I like the film a lot too)
