It's #WIPWednesday and I was in the mood to write some #ttrpg stuff recently (prompted by @ursus-lunae.bsky.social's excellent suggestions), so behold: a new trait for Evergreen full of juicy, mostly narrative abilities 🌲

Pick one of the options below: - Born in gush: You are at home in the damp, the noise and the buzzing critters of the season of rains. You have no trouble resting and traveling in adverse weather conditions, and you can roll Communion to gain intuition on your immediate surroundings based on the behavior of the local insect populations. - Born in burgeon: The season of Nature has left its mark on you. You have a boon to Communion and Spirit when you interact with Greentouched creatures of Nature (but not mere animals). - Born in hush: Like the quiet season, you are also detached from the Green. You have a snag to your Communion and a boon when you roll to resist Green-related effects. - Born in gloom: You carry the darkness of the somber season. You can see relatively well in the dark even with the weakest light source, like a candle or moonlight. You can take 1 strain to snuff out a light source no larger than a campfire. - Born under an eclipse: You came to the world when the veil was thin. You always know when you’re being watched (but not by whom). - Born during a storm: Something roils inside you. You can never sit still. You have a boon to all skills rolled to navigate storms, and you can take a Mark to burst in lightning; roll Vigor against all Adjacent creatures’ Evasion. Each one that fails suffers 2 strain and is flung to a zone further away from you.

Moodboards are an amazing tool to convey not just visuals but also character vibes!

A player in my upcoming @evergreen-ttrpg.bsky.social campaign made this for their character and I *love* it (posted w/ the player's permission):
A moodboard with many panels in different sizes. The dominant colors are earthy greens, greys and browns, and the various images depict fauns, ancient buildings, empty vials, iron rings, and the following quotes: "My problem is that I always want to know why", "Tell me your story.
