The bear considers itself a large predator. But it forgets that the most successful predator is man. Because he works together with others and is inventive. The bear has overestimated itself, and that will be its downfall. Man and the law, order prevails.
Measure against scammers? It reads that it is not blocked but must be confirmed. But then again, this might be a "soft measure" that is presented as a measure against scams, but is intended to be a barrier to cash withdrawals.

To make it short. Putin lies A LOT. He is better at it than Trump, but then again, every child is, but still, his lies are not particularly sophisticated and can quite easily proven wrong. He lied to Macron and the whole legal team that was listening in the other room.

The lies about the sunk Kursk, back then? Man, those were embarrassing (for him, entertaining for the rest of the world, not so much for the relatives of those sailors) moments when he was interviewed and stuttered.

His tax declaration surely is a lie. I bet the house he claimed attacked is not even declared? He owns his pants and an old lada, I guess?
December 31, 2025 at 1:03 AM
How about the bullshit numbers Putin reads now and then? Do these count as lies or is he just clueless?
December 31, 2025 at 1:01 AM
Also, everything about Assad, too. So much evidence of Assad's crimes has been secured. So much evidence of Russia's complicity in these crimes.

He lied back in 2014 and later boasted about the very things he had previously denied.

First: No, these are not Russian soldiers.
Then: How clever and bold our men were to pull this off. Here's an award for you.

He said it to Scholz and Macron. He lied to Scholz an Macron.
December 31, 2025 at 12:49 AM
If he said he saw a flying elephant, he would go any length to NOT step back from it. He would throw dirt at anyone saying "There are no flying elephants".
December 30, 2025 at 8:31 AM
The problem lies in the combination of his ego and his lying. Once he lies to a big audience he will not step back from this lie out of pride.
December 30, 2025 at 8:28 AM
Maybe it's just a bad dream because he's murdered so many people... though, I don't think that's keeping him awake at night.
December 29, 2025 at 11:36 PM
His house? Did he declare that house in his tax declaration? I thought he owned just a pair of shoes and an old lada?

Idiots write idiotic things. *drum roll*

Context:
He said this in Wielkopolska (misleading translation: "Greater Poland" - the region with city of Poznań, and in contrast to Małopolska - "Lesser Poland" with city Kraków).

It was said during the anniversary of the victorious uprising against the German Empire (1918).

I see only one relevant point here. Putin felt cornered which is a good thing. As he is fed bullshit numbers, that means that Russia was in real deep shit. The same will be true if he starts with the threats again, which will be true soon.
December 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM
There was one Sternenko (I know what people think of him) post where he claimed they even captured a batallion HQ with all the euqipment intact. guess we have to wait a bit for clarification. I hope Russians lied again.

If there is nothing else available at that moment, there is not even a need for a calculation. Either it is shot down or not. And the damage if it hits a train or substation is far more than 400k.

Also I would expect to see some North Korean involvement on China/Russian side if it becomes a hot conflict. They feel emboldened lately, especially after the Americans suffered their first heavy losses (several large ships sunk, for example), expect some free riders.
December 28, 2025 at 11:27 AM
Without China, Russia would be in deep trouble (which is not to say that this is not already the case). They are indebted to China.
December 28, 2025 at 11:23 AM
... threatening Europe and declaring Ukraine to be a purely European problem has consequences (even if Europeans do not act as rashly as Trump). Incidentally, China is already supporting Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.
December 28, 2025 at 11:23 AM
Even without a treaty: Russia would always stick to China vs US. Trump fantasizes otherwise. He would do better to weaken Russia as much as possible, because a weak Russian allied with China is better than a strong Russia allied with China. Europe would normally stick with the US, but ...
December 28, 2025 at 11:15 AM
It would be so sweet to see these morons in an honest debate for once. They would be nailed to the wall so hard, and the nail gun would be international law and the applicable treaties. They would have no choice but to concede or renounce law and justice. They'd do the latter ofc, masks would drop.

In other words: we have nothing else to offer. That is like some slum offering slum tourism.

US laws in the US. EU laws in the EU. Deal with it.

Nice. Missiles are a good target. Expensive for Russia and the damage prevented by shooting them down is also considerable.
