I work at SocialBu. https://socialbu.com
Been building SocialBu for years now, and the hardest part isn't the technical challenges or competition.

It's the waiting.

Waiting for customers to convert.
Waiting for features to gain traction.
Waiting for growth to compound.

Your systems should work even when your people can't.

Real growth happens when processes outlast people's availability.

"How can AI agents use SocialBu without human intervention?"

There is a lot of potential if we answer this question. And, we are working on it.

22 items in our SocialBu fixes backlog.

Every bug represents someone's frustration. Someone who trusted us with their social media workflow, and we let them down.

Fix what's broken before building what's next.

Your existing customers' experience > potential customers' wishlist.

Facebook's new Andromeda algorithm for ads will flip everything.

Old way: Pick interests → Hope it works
New way: Create diverse content → Let AI find your people

With this change, the algorithm gets smarter than your targeting.

AI-native browsers and agentic browsers will make it incredibly easy to fill out forms and perform data entry tasks.
December 19, 2025 at 10:21 AM
For some reason, all the new "intelligent" browsers are Mac-only.

I don't know what type of intelligence that is. I mean, not intelligent enough to make it cross-platform?

Use AI as an "intern" and not a replacement.
December 18, 2025 at 7:57 AM
Most people are using AI to write faster, but the real opportunity is writing smarter.

Speed matters, but strategic depth wins.

TikTok just changed their API permissions again 🤦‍♂️

After years of building SocialBu, I've learned that social media integrations break more often than they work smoothly.

And the difference between successful SaaS tools?

Not avoiding problems - but fixing them faster than anyone else.

The week started with a new deployment.

Perplexity bid on TikTok, knowing they couldn't afford 1% of it.

For 48 hours, they weren't a 'startup' - they were a contender.

Audacity > Algorithm optimization.

Sometimes, looking slightly unhinged beats looking professional.

Facebook users have purchasing power and intent that TikTok dancers simply don't.

Things to not miss for Instagram's 3:4 grid:
- Design for grid preview FIRST (3:4 ratio)
- Always upload at 1080px width minimum
- Test safe zones for Stories/Reels
- Plan multi-format from day one

It is still not enough 🙃

Kind reminder:
Do not expect people to treat you (or your work) seriously if you didn't even do your part with the effort that was required or expected.

Exactly.

The best path may not be the one you like the most.

Small autonomous teams preserve startup DNA better than layered management structures that add interpretation at every level.

A few weeks ago, I launched a side project - JustBlogged.

The problem: I wanted a simple personal blog. WordPress was overkill. Ghost was expensive. Medium doesn't let you own your content. I didn't want to deal with any servers or static site generators.

So I built my own.

Most "agentic AI" solutions are just rebranded existing tools with inflated prices.

I used to think scaling meant doing more things.

Actual scaling means doing fewer things better and at scale.

Feedback like this just randomly makes your day.

It is even better to get this on a Monday evening.

I have revived my blog.

Hoping to keep writing now.

Returning to write again - Usama Ejaz
As I started writing this, I didn't even clearly remember why I started my blog in the first place. Reading my first ever post, it felt nostalgic.
