It did imply that in the post I saw but I’ll have to be quick off the mark I think.
It’s a good sign though, is have thought. Hopefully guarantees them a west end transfer at some point. Maybe I can see it there

I 100% justified it by saying it was three years ago so it’s fine. Like there is a statue of limitations on bootlegging Broadway shows 🙃😅

This is the first production I’ve seen where she is older so it’s always been implied that the child (children?) was theirs. I can see what they were going for but it sort of didn’t make sense in the context of the setting of the play. Like why would this Macbeth be with her and why would she be

It was very good. And I’m kicking myself for not going to Stratford more. It’s only an hour from me!

Missed a really poignant and significant event that we down on the ground floor got in all its gruesome glory.
I’m really chuffed for Sam. It was fantastic to see him on stage and I really really hope he does more of it.
Hopefully by then people will have learned how to follow the rules 🙃

Nicholas Karimi as Banquo was phenomenal, especially as his ghost interrupted the feast. Sam and he really worked well together. Everyone was fantastic.
Playing it in the round was so goos. I had an excellent view of everything. I did feel sorry for those sitting on one of the balconies as they

Lia Williams was I genuinely didn’t see why they had her and Sam being Lady M and M. The age difference was never really touched upon or used. If you’re going to make a point of casting those roles as an age gap romance then it needs to be then utilised. That said they were excellent together.

Excellent in the second act, where he got to say some of my favourite lines - the ‘tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow’ speech was exceptionally well done - as tragic as I wanted it to be but with a very ghoulish twist (i don’t know if things shook out the same way in the previews)

I really think this might be one of the best I’ve seen. The interpretation really works and it’s by far the most Scottish I’ve ever seen the Scottish play being. Sam was so good. Anyone thinking they’re just going to see him being Jamie is going to be very disappointed. He was particularly

But aside from that, Macbeth was really excellent. It’s one of my favourite Shakespeare plays and I have an almost unlimited capacity for it. I think I’ve seen at least three different productions of it at The Globe. In fact the first play I ever saw there was Macbeth.
