Looking forward to first of two events on 'Ireland and America' that I'm organizing with the help of Tim Murtagh (@timvrti.bsky.social) and other colleagues at PRONI and @virtualtreasury.bsky.social. This event will bring experts together to discuss points of connection in Irish and American Pasts.

As we approach a series of 250th anniversaries relating to the period of the American Revolution it is important to interrogate points of connection in Irish and American pasts. This is the focus of ‘Ireland and America: 250th Anniversary Perspectives’, hosted by PRONI in partnership with the VRTI.
