Now we have Hegseth's "kill them all" order. I think it's time to call our most senior military leaders to address this legality question. It's not fair for individual airmen, sailors, soldiers, and Marines to have to decide this question themselves w/out guidance from senior military leadership.

Shouldn't senior officers be offering some guidance on the legality question? Seems to me they shouldn't just be sweeping it under the carpet and leaving up to individual soldiers, sailors, airmen, or Marines to decide for themselves on an order of questionable legality.

Yes, Tom is right, but it isn't going to happen . . . not while Mike Johnson is Speaker of the House. In my view, it's very unlikely with ANY Republican Speaker. This means there's little chance if it before Jan 2027. We've seen what Trump has done in last 10 months. Imagine 14 more months of him.
