Have you heard the news? SLRF 2025 will feature a pre-conference workshop on Mixed Methods in SLA Research, led by Dr. Wenhao Diao and Dr. Naoko Taguchi. You won't want to miss this excellent session on integrating qualitative and quantitative methods to produce high quality, impactful L2 research!

I’ve just decided to attend the CL 2025 Conference! I’ll be wearing my researcher/presenter and my book series editor hats 🎩 🎩 . Find me during the conference for a chat about usage-based SLA research and/or publication ideas for the @johnbenjamins.bsky.social Studies in Corpus Linguistics series!

One of my favorite things about attending academic conferences: I get to meet with publishers to see what’s new in the field and discuss new directions for research! An added bonus: to hold the latest volumes in the book series I edit for @johnbenjamins.bsky.social! #AAAL2025 #corpuslinguistics
