Dr. Jarrel De Matas asked a vital question at UTMB SPPH: What if AI supported deeper listening in clinical care? His seminar shared a plan for designing systems that recognize when patients feel dismissed, confused, or emotionally overwhelmed. Narrative medicine may be part of the solution.
