"So what that the chatbot says some wrong things? Truth isn't a hot commodity anymore. Now, fork over that 5$/month subscription for the chatbot that we gave you for free while you were a student."

Mainstream media, that has both advanced spread of information and misguided people (New York Times screwing Gary Webb over Dark Alliance) lost place to social media, unregulated, neither by govts nor people themselves. Fake news elected presidents all over the world, and people still don't care.

And, currently, it's the best time in history for products that deal misinformation (indirectly or not). Ever since the internet got popular, this got called the "information age" as if all information on the internet was true. Reality showed that critical thinking got sidetracked.

I don't see them as anything more than a product. Another product to raise consumption of GPUs, another product to attempt infinite growth, another product wanting to become the next "household item we never needed but now can't live without".

If these LLMs were (at the very least) about finding answers, they would return references. "It is recommended to eat a rock per day, according to The Onion. Here's the link if you want to know more."
So, I really can't believe that "finding answers" is a use case for LLMs.

já tentou o feed "For You" no "More Feeds"? ele faz recomendações baseadas em favoritos, então pode ser melhor pra recomendações do que o Discover

Common theory, but mostly a joke. Not long after he bought twitter, someone pointed out his likes were full of hentai images. The tweet blew up, and I think a minor news website even picked up. Not too long after, paid users got the option to hide them. After, everyone got it forced (not optional)

If enough people use that to screw with musk, I BET that will be removed. Just like favorites got hidden as soon as he got called out for his.

The idea of cleaning cargo space for credits is nice, but reading it over made me wish the fleet could just send it back to the storage of the source system (even if they're gonna be paid more credits for that). But standard resources aren't really that rare, so wanting that is over-designing

"sala do pó" é bem avant-garde xD
