Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor-Associated Uveitis: Predictors and Survival Impact
In 5966 patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors, uveitis was rare (0.49%) but linked to combination therapy, greater cumulative exposure, and prior uveitis. Uveitis occurrence was correlated with longer survival, suggesting heightened systemic immune activation.

Dead Bag-Associated Uveitis-Glaucoma-Hyphema Syndrome
A 46-year-old myopic man underwent uneventful cataract extraction with posterior chamber AcrySof (Alcon Laboratories, Inc) intraocular lens (IOL) placement. Ocular history was otherwise unremarkable. Seven years later, he developed transcapsular uveitis-glaucoma-hyphema syndrome with iris transillumination (A, arrows) related to IOL chafing of the iris through lens capsule. Subsequently, the IOL dislocated into the vitreous (B, arrow), necessitating lens capsule and IOL removal. Pathology revealed lens capsule (C-D, hematoxylin & eosin stain) with multifocal splitting (arrows) and extensive loss of lens epithelium without appreciable subcapsular fibrosis, compatible with dead bag syndrome.

Clinical Significance of T-SPOT.TB Test in Patients with Uveitis in South Korea
Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis), remains one of the major causes of mortality and morbidity worldwide.1 In 2023, South Korea reported an annual TB incidence rate of 38.2 per 100,000 population, the second highest among countries in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and is considered an intermediate-burden country for TB.2-4 Following exposure to M. tuberculosis, approximately 90% of individuals develop latent TB infection (LTBI), a condition defined by a sustained immune response to TB antigens without clinical or microbiological evidence of active disease.
