In the 15 years since Citizens United was decided by conservative SCOTUS justices, billions of dollars have poured into our elections — putting a price tag on our democracy.

But corporations are not people and money is not speech. We must end Citizens United.

When Republicans say they want to “cut spending,” let’s remember how they’re actually going to do that: by going after Social Security and Medicare.

All that, to pay for their Trump Tax Scam 2.0 — a giant tax cut for billionaires and wealthy corporations.

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.

This legislation isn’t about making our communities safer. It’s about stripping due process from undocumented immigrants and fast-tracking Trump’s mass deportation plans.

This is a bad bill. It removes due process and subjects any undocumented person who is arrested or charged with shoplifting or theft to mandatory detention — no trial or conviction needed.

It’s all fear mongering about immigrants, not making people safer.
