I love teaching!
its crazy that teachers have their names, positions, salaries, and other employment details public but federal law enforcement doesnt have the same obligation

is it doxxing for teachers too or is this another bout of hypocrisy (its the hypocrisy)

this is great news, but now that we know what they want, we should expect more pressure from the administration to try to push the state into thinking it has no other choice

we have to be thoughtful and plan

the best thing the left has going for it is this desire to help those we dont know.

most people think this is a good thing, which is why local leftist parties which help their communities through mutual aid is probably the best chance we have toward winning the populace over

people view physics as a field as very "elite" and "unknowable" and you need to be really smart to understand it but that framing stops people from actually engaging with something really cool about our universe

ps this doesnt apply only to physics (almost anything academia related these days)

We need to stop pretending senators (and representatives to a lesser extent) have no actual power in their chambers. they can:

- filibuster with no notice
- object to unanimous consent
- demand quorum calls

all things to waste time and make it harder to do business. it isnt business as usual.

The consequences of lying in this political age are non-existant. In fact, it seems to be advantageous if you are able to keep power for long enough to cause another problem.

We can't rely on our systems to save us from this loop.

but remember this: it's the fault of the man himself and those who voted for him, not the people who watch tiktok or didn't vote. the people who didn't vote because of Palestine had a point. if the line isn't genocide than what line is there? 2/2
