For anyone unaware: it's largely because a lot of the traditional diagnostic criteria for autism were largely developed based on how it presents in young boys. So for girls, or adults, it largely went undiagnosed for a long time.

It's okay, it doesn't matter because almost nobody actually labels plus-size clothes accurately or consistently so it's a guessing game unless you check the size chart anyway (and even then it might fit weird)
