He has worked on improving neurospheres to model the development of the enteric nervous system. They did this by combining in vitro culturing with specific growth factors, followed by implantation in ovo to track the progress of enteric neural stem cells during ENS development!
v4sdb.bsky.social
Please welcome our final speaker to the stage: Ádám Soós from Semmelweis University with his fascinating talk Exposure to Mesenchymal Growth Factors Enhances the Ability of Enteric Neural Stem Cells to Colonize the Avian Aganglionic Hindgut!

The data reveal the importance specific genes during rRNA modifications and ribosomal assembly in specifying mesenchymal cell fate of cranial neural crest cells in mouse embryos - and a connection with neuroblastoma
v4sdb.bsky.social
Next on the programme we have Irina Poverennaya of the @adameykolab.bsky.social at @meduniwien.ac.at, to share her knowledge on how rRNA-Modifications Connect Mesenchymal Fate Selection in Neural Crest and Prognosis in Neuroblastoma

Have you ever wondered how nails grow? Well today is the day we find out!
Nail proximal fold stem cells can change their fate in response to injury - here we find out how BMP and WNT signalling contribute to this by using mouse models
#tissueregeneration #celltransplantation
v4sdb.bsky.social
Our next speaker - Anna Pulawska-Czub from the University of Warsaw. She presents a talk Unlocking Regeneration: The Potential of Nail Proximal Fold Stem Cells

#V4SDB2025 #conference #developmentalbiology #evodevo #morphogenesis #regeneration
v4sdb.bsky.social
Radek will describe an unrecognised cell population, which takes part in regeneration initiation and uncover its role in tail regeneration of Xenopus laevis embryos. Don't miss out!

#V4SDB2025 #conference #developmentalbiology #evodevo #morphogenesis #regeneration
v4sdb.bsky.social
And we proceed with Radek Šindelka, Institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, who will tell us about Identification of Regeneration Initiation Cells and Their Function

#V4SDB2025 #conference #developmentalbiology #evodevo #morphogenesis #regeneration
v4sdb.bsky.social
Cellular senescence can be either protective or detrimental to an organism - this depends entirely on the situation!
She will tell us about its role both during mammary gland involution and its implications in breast cancer
v4sdb.bsky.social
The last invited speaker of the conference is none other than Han Li @hanli-pasteur.bsky.social from Institut Pasteur @pasteur.fr who will tell us about the Double-Edged Sword: Cellular Senescence in the Mammary Gland
#V4SDB2025 #conference #developmentalbiology #stemcells #mammarygland #organoids
v4sdb.bsky.social
The rest of the session will be chaired by Zuzana Sumbalová Koledová @sumbalovakoledova.bsky.social from @imgprague.bsky.social - we are looking forward to this final set of talks!

Krzysztof will talk about the largest tissue of our body - the skin, and how hair follicle stem cells are involved in hair regeneration, covering the Bmp-Id2 axis and its role in quiescence.

#V4SDB2025 #conference #developmentalbiology #evodevo #morphogenesis #organoids
v4sdb.bsky.social
And we proceed with an exciting talk by Krzysztof Kobielak from the University of Warsaw, The BMP-ID2 Axis Reveals a Reversible Hair Follicle Stem Cells Gene Network That Regulates Intrinsic Oscillations Between Opposing States During Hair Regeneration

Conferences aren’t only for science but also to have fun with colleagues and making new friends. What better time for this than the gala dinner on our last evening together!
Keep an eye out, the evening has only just begun!
