Sony had the easiest slam dunk setup for them after “No Way Home”. Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man crosses over with Tom Hardy’s Venom.

They wanted a connected universe so bad and it was right in front of them. Yet we got crap like Kraven the Hunter & Madame Web instead 😴

Did I really just pay $12.99 for a book (Helter Skelter) for it to not have the images included????
vaguelysquare.bsky.social
I was like maybe but that still doesn’t change the opening title card of the film 😂

Also fun story; when I was in High School I wrote a paper on this film (because of course I did) and got docked multiple points for spelling the title “Chain Saw”.

I argued the point that that is how it is spelled IN THE FILM & my English teacher said the movie was wrong 😂

#NowWatching - Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) … it’s been a spell since I last seen this movie and you sort of forgot how intense it is. Leatherface is legitimately unsettling in this film.

Honestly… its dumb that a single episode of a show (on a streaming service!) cost $60 million. I don’t care if it’s a “mini movie” or not.

The entire film and entertainment industry is due for a hard reset / crash. Get those budgets back in line.

All episodes in the final season of ‘STRANGER THINGS’ will be over 1 hour

• Between 90 to 120 minutes each
• Budget per episode is $50M-$60M

You know I kind of wanted this goofy thing to succeed. Though I had no idea they ever made a (sort of) functional prototype of it.

Does anyone remember the name of the website that George Lutz used to run? This would have been... probably late 90's - early 2000's? It had a bunch of information and photos about the Amityville Horror, including a message board.

#NowWatching - what I think is a very underrated sequel “Blair Witch Project 2: Book of Shadows”. I’ve always enjoyed this film!

Wrote about THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, which lasts because it does the impossible task for a film of authentically recreating how it feels to hear a campfire story, to be told a scary local legend that creeps into your mind and lingers there, for the first time. nbrehmer.medium.com/the-blair-wi...
‘The Blair Witch Project’ and the Power of Oral Folklore
Many great movies were lucky enough to be celebrated when they first came out, many were massive hits, but a very few have transcended…

And they 100% faked the entire Amityville story with George Lutz so they could sell some books.

I have been ripping a big box of CDs (mostly movie soundtracks) to my computer today. Because its the year 2002 at my house.

I wish that film would have came out in the post Stranger Things landscape. Feels like it was right before 80s nostalgia was in full force. Though even if you strip it of those elements, its a fantastic film.

I'm glad DC is seemingly back on the right track with the new Superman film. It's amazing how they bungled the most slam-dunk shots over the years.

Just think at various points they brought back Danny Elfman and Michael Keaton AND the '87 Batman score. Still managed to make it terrible.

When did movies stop being an event? I miss when summer blockbuster was an actual season. You’d plan out the release dates. I’d buy the movie soundtracks. Then couldn’t wait to get the DVD & spend an afternoon digging through special features.

Does “Freddy vs. Jason” have the greatest movie soundtrack of all time? Its a banger for sure. Introduced me to so many bands!

Good movie so far but I gotta say the mom randomly wandering into the train and delivering a baby from an infected zombie woman is pretty stupid 😂

**sigh**

No. I don’t want to share any data. I want to watch the movie that is on the disc that I own.

That’s it.

(This is on the 28 Years Later 4K disc)

Here is my (almost) up to date last of movies that I own. Split up into format. I have been using CLZ Movies to catalog my collection for years now. It’s as easy as scanning the barcode on the back of the box.
