Of the various things I've been doing lately I had time to squeeze in an art trade with cootsxviii on Instagram that's a gift art for phoxnsparky (also on instagram) of their character Phox. I'm quite happy with the end result, Enjoy

I unintentionally used an image with lower resolution than usual which presented a bunch of problems. However, it encouraged me to practice using filters and effects more than any other paintovers I've done so far. I'm happy with the result, it has a much stronger dream-like quality to it. Enjoy

I think I messed up the back arm in the angle it's positioned in, but aside from that I'm quite happy with this simple little character art. The armor is loosely based off of images of "Maximillian Armor" I found on pinterest, and splicing in different elements from other stuff here and there. Enjoy

I didn't have a witty title for this one so I just called it "Tower Steps." The photo I used is from the same outing when I got the photo for "You can see my house from here." Nothing too crazy, I just wanted to do another picture of Laurainne before I moved on. Enjoy

When digging around for photos to paint over on pinterest I came across a photo with a nice outfit and pose I thought would be nice to use for practice. Also, it's been a good while since I last did anything with Carrie's friend Lauainne. Enjoy

It's my birthday, so I went and took a picture of a hill I sometimes lay on and drew Carrie on it. I think it turned out well, especially with the VHS filter (just ignore that VHS recorders weren't around by 2008, it's just the timeframe that I wanted Carrie to be living in). Finished images below.

Maybe she's friendly. A mishmash of ideas for the Japanese Red Fox prompt today. It was the Onryo yokai, a fox kabuki mask, and a really nice image I found on pinterest all coming together for this. It certainly fits the season, Enjoy
