have just uncovered a fascinating example of "tvtropes editor that's scared of everything" in which they are *this* close to basically reinventing the concept of a null kink but, because they are scared of everything, they are scared of it
from the YMMV page of The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 6: "Fridge Horror: While it's brushed off as a joke, this episode shows that while the ability to have sex is removed from the players, the need for sex can still be found. It's a minor, but horrifying detail that while a basic human need can be felt, it remains impossible to satisfy."

in fairness, we have a few NON-robot mutuals that would probably go under in this situation,
