Been there done that.
It's almost become a habit to leave a "thank you" every time AI saves my ass really.
At desperate times I even go "can you please help me do this..."
And after it's done I go like "you are my saviour, I cannot imagine my life without you, how do I thank you".

I second this. Being a tech person myself and having faced the same problem, the solution is simply to have a non-coder point of view. Quickest way to do that is to talk to a marketer.
