Turns out the "peacecraft" people were right for the wrong reasons and that the faction conflict was a load-bearing pillar of the franchise after all.

I haven't even really used him for RP since BFA anyway. There's just no good hooks for him in the modern lore. He's too defined by WC3-to-MoP lore, which - to be frank - is lore that just isn't really relevant anymore.

Seeing this really cements that it's just time to give up on Vak as an orc OC on Retail and just have him solely be a character in my Epsi AU. Outside of the Heritage quests and those Dragonmaw quests in DF, I just haven't seen any interesting, cohesive orc story since like MoP.
