many of the presidents named after inanimate objects probably also like white monster, to be fair

it just feels like there's a weird dissonance here. one group's saying "senate dems who are retiring or not up for reelection are taking the fall for this", and another group is saying "democrats are the same as republicans, or worse, and voting for them is a waste of time"
November 10, 2025 at 6:30 AM
there are threads *full* of people saying stuff like this, that dems are controlled opposition, agree with everything republicans do, they're never voting for them again, etc. i think it's a seriously overlooked aspect of this outcome

Apparently it was available, but negligible

The design matches a real Minute Maid can. I'm guessing it *was* AI-upscaled, though, which messed up the finer text.

can't speak as to any of the other circumstances, but being able to match up fine details between the earlier photo (left) and later video (right) seems fairly implausible (although i'm not familiar with the current state of the art)

that one meme with the goombas has been gaining traction recently but it's often best not to overthink things

i am a bit worried about a potential gen-z red wave in the longer term, since the post-covid cohort seems to be more conservative than previous generations (although it's very possible they'll grow out of it)

it's insane to see libs start sephiroth posting like this
March 1, 2025 at 12:19 AM
imo this guy isn't the problem but this genre of post always showing up on /r/all definitely is. there are a ton of posts about women being awful where like, even if they are, it says a lot about the audience. semi-related: there's a *ton* of subtly misogynistic ragebait everywhere (see screenshot)

(wokely) the civil war wasn't about slavery

this is what this sort of rhetoric leads to. with the amount of ostensibly-leftist posturing intended to make people disengage from meaningful political action, it kinda makes me wonder if social media platforms engage in more manipulation than just pushing people to the right
