Picking all of this up seemed like a good idea at first. Now that I have them. I'm not sure what to do with 168 bottles of mead and 500 or so cans of beer.

The last time I had this many full cans. I dumped them in the driveway and crushed them with the truck.

Was out exploring yesterday and found a Western Electric rotary phone in an abandoned building. It would have been nice if someone hadn't cut the cord off.

I figured out that Overnight Shipping originally occupied the building I've been exploring. It was built in the 1950s.

All of the tile made it feel a bit like a shower. The location of the only door that I saw makes me question that though. When I go back, I'll look around on the floor and try to look through that large square hole.

Out exploring an abandoned building and need a little help. Does anyone have any ideas as to the original purpose of the room with the pink and black tiles? A lot of the original building was changed by the previous tenants. I believe that the tile is original though.

So many tart pie cherries but don't have a tall enough ladder to pick them.

I came across this small generator set the other day. I'm not entirely sure how the turbine is connected to the generator though.

This is my 61 year old Frigidaire Compact 30 oven and range. Several years ago the original oven thermostat completely failed. I decided that this would be a good opportunity to make some upgrades. So, I made a temperature control from parts I'd collected over the years.

Destructive learning. A few years ago, I found several of these Lucas Aerospace voltage regulators in the woods.

I haven't had any success in determining exactly what they might have gone on. Based on other items that were in the area. It was most likely some type of aircraft.

Finished a small component replacement and soldering job. Three diodes and two SCRs were replaced on this DC motor speed control.

Cutting two new transformer core laminations from two old transformer core laminations.

I'm rather late to this question but I'm going to guess that it's some sort of BIY (Build It Yourself) IGBT.

I've been sorting and testing a bunch of reclaimed IGBTs, MOSFETs, diodes, etc.
