Ermine & Minthe become a constant cycle of "where does he end, and where do we begin?" and "am i not Ermine if I have his memories, his body, his voice, etc?"

Its not certain if Ermine's consciousness & soul remains! His aether was already thin before & Minthe is a vast, complicated, neuron-like network of unique thin aethers that can induce visual hallucinogenic properties when looked at with aethersight too long.

Not wanting him to die + returning the same love he gave them, they pieced him back together & used their therapeutic properties to revive him.
They can only truly die if every part of their mycorrhizal network is wiped out, otherwise they will always come back w/ a lil less of "Ermine" every time

While in hiding Ermine took great care of a flower farm & he ended up caring for some unique seedkins, including Minthe! As an entelechy seedkin, Minthe sensed a love-dominating dynamis in his soul when he was dying & remembered how well Ermine took care of them. (contd)
