I feel like there needs to be classes of e-bikes. Anything with a throttle is a motorcycle. That’s one huge distinction to me. Anything remotely close to 70lb in weight needs a separate class.

I have had a crash with an incompetent ebike rider. He could not sweer away from me even though I was already off the path by trying to avoid him. Cheap ebikes are too heavy, too fast. Basically motorcycles. I have huge personal reservations around these machines being allowed on bike paths.

Fair point. Let us all hope for better relations with our most direct neighbour. I would rather not add oil on the fire since, all things considered, I cannot do much, except decide where I spend my money.

Otherwise, a patch + tpu tube. 🤷♂️ ridenows are inexpensive and take up much less weight, recyclable, and repairable.
