I guess most of you know what happened from there. I became a famous mercenary, fell in love with a wonderful girl named Judy, got loaded up on so much chrome I could be considered a cyberpsyco, and oh yeah. I got an asshole inside my head.

Naked, with nothing but a gun and a few eddies, covered in blood, I ran. For another year I got my life back together. Got a different job, A mercenary for hire. I took down a few targets, earned a couple thousand eddies, and headed back to NC.

She got rich while I was abused for one-and-a-half years. One night I had won, she was giving me “special treatment” also known as being able to sleep on the bed. She had left her iron on her nightstand so… It was easy to escape.

She buttered me up, then tied me down. Kept me in a cage and forced me to fight for her. Any time I lost, she’d turn on the electricity in the cage. Eventually, I couldn’t feel the pain anymore. But I felt the shame all the same.

When I turned 20 I met a girl named Petra. We fell in love pretty quick. Fast and hard. We did dumb shit. I got my first taste of chrome ‘cause of her. She really took care of me, but it turns out she was part of an illegal pit fighting ring. But not the kind where you fight in yourself.

A chrome junkie tried to rob the store I worked in so I scrambled his brain with my iron. Turns out that’s a little bit illegal in most places. My boss gave me a couple hundred eddies and told me to skip town. I went from city to city but shit always went wrong.

When I was 16 I up and left. ‘Needed a change of scope, become my own woman. I traveled out to Atlanta, got a driver's license and an ok job. Borin shit. Ether way, shit hit the fan when I turned 18.

Honorary member, ya know? They fed me, I stayed outta trouble. I learned how to dance and how to sneak around. Shit was nice.

I guess I’ll start from the beginning. ‘Was born in NC, parents were flatlined when I was 4. Who woulda thought that living in a Combat Zone was a gonk move, huh? Well I was picked up by Padre, ‘never officially joined the Valintenos but my name comes from them as far as I can tell.
