Years ago I found this toy next to the trash and I was obsessed with turning it into a kinda launchpad. It's simple but it's one of my favorite one-day builds. Last year I repurposed some of the code for an actual launchpad so it came full circle in the end! Now it lives in a random drawer at work.

I made the fumobotics chassis, put a hole in the base for a shoulder mount, wrote some code for custom hand movements, threw together app to control it on my phone, and then took it to anisong show at the club and dropped it 3 times. Huge thanks to @javilacking.bsky.social for creating the chassis!
