I feel bad for prequel kids. I was there when the strength of men failed and people were so hateful and cruel to the jarjar actor and child anakin actor and later Hayden for things beyond their control. Now that those kids are grown it’s nothing but love.

Ep7: enjoyed that it was new generation of characters that inspired lots of girls to cosplay as Rey and kids to build lego sets.
Ep8: enjoyed “grown up” story with shades of grey we wouldn’t see again until Andor.
Ep9: literally nothing. Ruined everything.

I can say I didn’t like killing off the silver armor character, felt like a total waste. We get a new character DJ who is never seen nor heard from again. Snoke. But wasted potential aside, it was the most compelling storyline of the sequels. I don’t even dislike ep7, I think it was more for kids.

Is so funny how it went on to become the only sequel film I like (not love). I didn’t hate the first sequel either but it did feel very checklist. The third sequel convinced me to treat all the sequels as high budget fan fiction, outside my head canon like the EU novels used to be.

I will admit I was assigned to read great expectations in two distinct English classes and both times I couldn’t get past the first act because my god it’s such a boring and unsatisfying read. I’ve gone on to read 1300 page sci-fi novels. Dozens of fantasy novels. You have to be interested to read.

I’m excited for new racing game! Pod racer was my jam! Only bummer is it looks like just one pod racer this time, and may not allow customization.

I look forward to just skipping through some highlights video on YouTube from a creator I follow, only stopping to look at the 2-3 games that may interest me.

This is very good advice. I had a traumatic episode last week that I thought I could just quickly get over, but as more time passed it made me more upset. Talking about it with friends and therapist helped me process it better and I’m better now.
