many such cases. governing and diplomacy are two different skillsets requiring different outlooks, lots of presidents who are great at international politics suck domestically and vice versa

the number of people in this country that end up being threatened with "undocumented" status not because they entered illegally or failed to follow the letter of the law, but because the government officials responsible for those processes just don't care to do their jobs

a relatively small number of countries do have way more immigrants than others, both absolute and relative, but even then the numbers generally aren't that dramatic to my recollection,,,,, yet if you listen to some people we're outnumbered in our own countries

the interesting thing about the perception around the world being that migration is out of control, is that as a proportion of the global population a stunningly small number of people actually live outside their country of origin, and most of that is just people moving within their region
