As long as there are fanfic drafts on my AO3 account, I’m not leaving.

A little basic: although P5 is aesthetically unmatched, the dynamics between the Phantom Thieves (or the P3 cast) just don’t appeal to me as much as the IT. I love the small town nerds.

In conclusion, there’s a lot to play around with if you see kwamis as a second layer of skin, and think of drawbacks that come with wearing aliens as suits.

In case of severed limbs, which are next to impossible when wearing the suit, a kwami could either wrap around the severed area and then heal it as a residual limb or wait for the holder to retrieve the limb and, depending on its state, stitch it back on.

The brain and the nervous system are the most vulnerable parts— direct contact with a kwami’s components might result in some form of severe magic poisoning. Open wounds and scrapes could be risky, but the kwami could cover it like a bandage first, then heal it indirectly with magic charges.

I think it’d be more interesting if kwamis are not allowed to come into direct contact with their holder’s brain, spine or any internal part of their body. They protect the body at all costs not just because the holder keeps their connection to our reality, but because kwamis are hazardous.

So, what if the kwamis have to connect to their holder’s nervous system? Or the kwami suit feels the texture, then sends fake impulses into your brain that makes you think you feel the texture, but you don’t.

When Jayce interacted with members of Viktor’s cult, he kept seeing flashbacks of spindly, almost machine-like beings. It could be fake, but it could also be the hexcore’s vision for humanity— and Jayce unintentionally contributed by destroying the one thing standing in its path: Viktor’s humanity.

What if it was all intentional? If we consider the possibility of the hexcore having a consciousness, and placing Jayce and Viktor in their current positions like chess pieces, then what if it intended for Viktor to get zapped by Jayce?

Ah, that makes sense. Done and done! Thank you! 😌

Imagine my surprise when I saw that many of them on the list… The blocking might have to extend to several days, but I’ll get there.
