This is a bad take. Your goaltender needs to make a couple saves. The game should’ve been easily 5-2 maybe 5-3 tonight. Inexcusable goaltending

Yeah I think back to Ullmarks diving save across the net last year. Standing ovation from the crowd. Those saves have completely evaporated this year, I can't recall seeing a highlight reel save in at least a month or two. (maybe the whole season?)

Makes it even worse watching every team projected to finish below us in the standings looking solid in a playoff spot. Why can't we have that?

After 38 games last season, they had 40 points. This season, 41 points. Not much of an improvement. It really seems like they've peaked. Especially if the goaltending doesn't improve, like you mention in the article.

It is pretty crazy how volatile this team is though. Win 7 of 8, lose 3 of 4. Before that it was win 5 straight, lose 5 straight. The whiplash as a fan trying to figure out where the team stands is wild. Definitely not time to trade the core though 🤣

As a Sens fan, I have to admit, Habs are looking great. The only thing I’ll add is that you could’ve said the same thing about the Sabres or Oilers during their decade long rebuild. Having a lot of picks and youth talent doesn’t always equate to success.
