I think she was on the P Diddy trial team, maybe they were just waiting for that to be over before firing her. It would have been very disruptive to that case to fire her before now.

Mr. Eisen - one thing you'll need to check is whether there actually ARE any current PSCs. My wife is a PSC at USAID whose contract had a 14-day termination clause, which USAID purported to exercise several weeks ago. The gov't may say that the injunction doesn't reach people they already fired.

Or, more charitably, the leadership didn't make him take a tough vote when it wouldn't have affected the outcome anyway. He has a very Trumpy district so it helps him to break party ranks sometimes.

Apparently Golden voted at the very end, after it was clear Rs had the votes, suggesting that he got a pass and would have voted no if it had mattered.

Don’t stop the Rs from blowing the debt ceiling. A lot of collateral damage obviously but would push Trumps approval down to where impeachment might actually happen.
