That’s brutal. Our flight home to LA from London on the 22nd was cancelled and I was pretty worried that if we didn’t get in as early as possible on the 23rd it would be a few more days until we could make it. Can’t imagine a lot of air travel will be happening in the region today/tomorrow

The excellent reporters keep me subscribed. I’ve considering ending almost a decade of subscribing many times this last year but there are always articles and reporting that keep me around

We currently have two cars, but have spent years living without a car. It was great. Also saved several hundred a month on car payments and insurance

Conservative media can cut the clips as they see fit and the setting and style is what regular people are used to seeing. Gives the veneer of respectability and credibility

Not getting Castle in return was obviously terrible

Also I did a torturous thought exercise recently and found that a halfway smart GM without ownership meddling probably would have a starting 5 right now that is:

Fox
Hali
Keegan
Harrison Barnes
Alperen Sengun (draft instead of Davion)

The anti-immigrant Prop 187 is often pointed to as a tipping point for California’s blue shift. ICE/CBP terrorizing communities is awful, but maybe it will shift national politics

Immigration has fueled American exceptionalism for longer than we have been a country. This administration is just lighting 300 years of progress on fire

“So the only thing people don’t like about LA is the traffic. Everything else is a great selling point.”

“Oh, I got it! So them how many freeways we have!”

The first rule of low-turnout special elections is you do NOT talk about low-turnout special elections.

In addition to those details, the essay is becoming a big “tell on self” moment for people who can’t write. Anyone defending this probably can’t write above a middle school level. Ideology aside, no college professor I’ve experienced (including at my Christian college) is giving this a passing grade

Not a great sign for TP OU’s overall intelligence that they thought posting this paper was going to be a good idea
