I don't think people understand the space between wanting to die and wanting to live. The agony that comes from living everyday in pain, and the mustard seed of hope that it will one day get better.

Economics has just enough math, research, and testing in it to be seen as a hard science, but also enough room for subjectivity to become entirely bullshit.

I don't think justice is real. It sucks when the people who hurt you get away with it. And you can do nothing about it, but suffer and try to move past.

Studying at a café. Just finished taking a practice test on the JLPT N5. I got a higher score then last time.

This time next year I will be working on my N2 and having full conversations in Japanese.
