I hope Benedic Lamdin made a million dollars for that song Every Now and Then. In the last week I've heard it on a loop for multiple hours at a time waiting on hold for Verizon's Customer Careless Representatives.

I don't suppose you remember that cover of Hey Jude by the Del Rubio Triplets, do you?

I'm invited to be a guest performer for an NYE concert tonight. I haven't been onstage in months due to health issues but I'm going to give it my best effort. Wish me luck!

Had a good cry today because I've been so unwell this year, but friends and family have rallied around me to protect me and help make me well again. I'm so lucky to have a support system.

That scene in Roxanne where C.D. Buys a newspaper... Yeah, that's pretty much my feeling about it too.

I'm terrified that my epitaph might be "I meant to get around to that."

I learned the Secret Handshake this year. Trust me, you don't want to know the Secret Handshake. You'd rather cut off both your arms if you only knew. Stick with the regular handshake.

When the other kids asked me which is better, Voltes V or Mazinger Z, I said Daimos was better than either of them. I wasn't very popular in that school.

Went for a walk last night and started hearing loud music in the distance. At first I figured it was one of Tigra and Bunny's Cars with the Boom, but when I turned the corner onto Ellis Street this was happening. Had to look it up: That's Joel Corry.

I always forget that I like XKCD which means that when I finally remember I have to spend several hours reading back. It can ruin a whole day's schedule.

The Tesla at a stoplight had its windows down and the speakers a thumpin'! What was coming out of them was a phone call with someone really pissed off. I mean whoever was on the line was really laying into them hard, but they didn't turn it down or roll the windows back up.

Today I saw twenty foot and higher waves at the same place where Madeline jumped into the bay.

Busker played a recording of Freebird and accompanied it on a drum set. Not a particularly difficult song but he wasn't a particularly good drummer either.

He should have joined the keytar and drum machine guy playing new wave style Tejano music across the street.

TFW the plumber walks through your bedroom dripping raw sewage on the floor as he carries the old toilet out.

Spent six months so far shopping for the worst ingredients for my next gourmet recipe. I call it PTSD (rhymes with 'pizza' but it involves crying).

I kind of love the fact that the pointe shoe and leotard store was playing Lou Reed, Bananarama, and Joy Division today.

It used to be funny when someone got overly excited they'd write a bunch of exclamation marks but with some random 1's appearing between them. Now that everybody types on their phones instead of keyboards no one gets that joke.

Something you don't know about me. I was one of the first cooks at Quizno's. I worked there until graduating college when the owner offered me a job which would have fast tracked me to the executive suite of a fast growing corporation. I wanted a job relevant to my music degree so I turned him down.

Made it through a whole cycle of pillows without an unbalance error. I love my new washing machine! It's the little things that big my life up.
